Literature review tentang pembelajaran IPA dengan metode mind mapping untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using mind mapping in science learning through a literature review approach. The review analyzed 15 national and international articles related to the implementation of mind mapping in science education. The findings indicate that mind mapping consistently provides positive contributions to multiple aspects of learning. From a cognitive perspective, mind mapping improves conceptual understanding, mastery of subject matter, and science achievement. Regarding thinking skills, it has proven effective in developing students’ critical and creative thinking abilities. In addition, mind mapping enhances students’ motivation, concentration, and engagement during the learning process. Several meta-analysis and meta-synthesis studies confirm that the impact of mind mapping is consistent across different educational levels and can be integrated with various active learning models such as Problem-Based Learning, Numbered Head Together, and STEM-based learning.
